Redscar Legion

The Redscar Legion formed in the uneasy quiet that followed the latest armistice between  the Horde and Alliance. Its founders were veterans of too many wars to count—soldiers, assassins, and spellcasters who had bled for the Horde in conflicts from Ashenvale to Dazar’alor. They were not zealots or warmongers, but realists who knew peace with the Alliance never lasted. They bore their scars proudly, the red marks of survival and betrayal alike, and swore to be ready when the next blade fell.

Operating beyond the sanction of Orgrimmar’s politics, the Legion is a warband of pragmatists and loyalists.  They are fighters who refuse to let their edge dull. They take contracts that keep them sharp: hunting dangerous beasts, breaking bandit lines, or striking preemptive blows against threats to Horde lands. Officially, they’re “mercenaries” working in Horde interests. Unofficially, they’re a shadow army waiting for the inevitable collapse of the peace.

To the Redscar Legion, the Horde’s survival depends not on treaties or councils, but on strength, unity, and readiness. Every scar tells a story, a warning carved into flesh that peace is only ever the pause between wars.
