Words from the Warlord
The Legion has remained active on several fronts this past week. Enforcer Ironhorn has called our fighters to arms for the first raid assault of the campaign, taking out a void-corrupted entity in Harandar. He will soon take a group to defeat enemies in the Voidstorm. Those who wish to test their strength and earn their scars should make themselves ready.
Huhn has also been keeping our warriors informed about the many enemy holds and fortresses scattered across Quel’Danas. After each briefing, he has led smaller strike groups into those locations to confront the enemy directly. These operations have proven effective in weakening hostile forces and gathering valuable intelligence.
On another front, Enforcer Syreena has continued to lead efforts against the Alliance with her usual ferocity. However, the Legion is seeking someone willing to step forward and take on leadership of that effort. Any who believes they have the will and discipline to guide our fighters against the Alliance should make themselves known.
Lastly, Enforcer Dreadhoof reminded us that even hardened soldiers must occasionally laugh. In honor of All Fool’s Day, he made a grand proclamation that the Redscar Legion would be merging with a peaceful Alliance guild known as the Blue Mark Alliance. According to his announcement, we would soon be sharing raids, battles, and friendly social events with our new cross faction allies. The news caused more than a few raised brows before the truth became clear. No such peace has been signed, and the Legion remains firmly Horde. Still, it served as a reminder that even in times of war, a little mischief keeps the spirit sharp, and you shouldn’t believe everything you hear.
Village Voices
Spymaster Iresh Stargaze is preparing an investigation of the Twilight’s Blade forces in Eversong. He is looking for volunteers to assist. He also mentioned there is a Harandir who has moved into his building by the name of Sendura, who is training as a healer. Residents are encouraged to make her feel welcome.
Kirasande Mirkalla has continued our investigations of a fel smuggling operation in Murder Row. She seeks to collect fel artifacts to categorize. She is also looking for volunteers.
Lady Mirkalla and her roommates are opening a museum with displays of items and artifacts from many Horde cultures. It is not open yet. Details will be forthcoming.
Karothan has opened the Dead-scale Saloon outside his house for drinking, eating, and merry-making. All are welcome to visit and enjoy!
Promotions
The following Initiates were promoted to Reaver: Lani Embertread, Rinese Plaguebringer, Vichar, Osruk, Bambaistraz, Carnefix, Iladya, Karothan, Sylvaelissa
As a reminder, to be promoted to Reaver, an Initiate must complete all of Secretary Blastwhizzle’s paperwork (Registration form, and Profile) and attend at least a couple Redscar events.
Congratulations to all who received promotions this month!
Also, Suits has stepped down from Enforcer and will now be a Warstalker. He will be mostly absent from our events for a while as he has been called back to the Priest Hall to assist with important matters there. Although he will be missed, we will welcome him back when he is able to return.
Member of the Month – Doctor Bixidink Grimimsy
This month’s Redscar Legion spotlight turns to Doctor Bixidink Grimimsy, a methodical mind whose approach to guild life is guided by structure, efficiency, and measurable results. These traits also contribute to her being very well suited in her position as Redscar’s Quartermaster.
Before committing to the Legion, the Doctor explains that the decision was not made lightly. After reviewing numerous groups, Redscar emerged as the clear choice. “I evaluated seventeen organizations before selecting Redscar Legion,” Grimimsy stated. According to the Doctor’s own analysis, the Legion’s operations have only improved since. “Redscar, with my consultation, optimized their efficiency by 23% documented improvement.”
While combat operations are acceptable when properly organized, Grimimsy’s real interest lies in improving systems and processes across the Legion. Scouting, for instance, is an area the Doctor believes could benefit greatly from more formalized procedures and data collection.
Many members have already experienced Grimimsy’s organizational mindset through the Legion’s scavenger hunts. Far from simple diversions, the Doctor describes them as a way to bring members together while also serving practical purposes. Returned items are carefully evaluated, with lower-quality finds sold off while valuable materials are repurposed for future ventures.
When asked who the Doctor trusts most in the Legion, the answer was clear: Warlord Grishokk Doomcaller. Grimimsy praised the Warlord’s leadership as effective and measurable, noting that his decision-making and direction provide the kind of structured command the Doctor respects.
Looking ahead, Grimimsy is already considering new initiatives, including efforts to better organize the Legion’s tradeskillers. By coordinating crafters and gathering a clear list of supply needs—such as flasks, potions, and food—the Doctor hopes to ensure Redscar’s forces are properly equipped for future battlefield operations.
The Doctor’s advice for new recruits reflects that same practical outlook. “Follow documented protocols,” Grimimsy advised. “Competence is recognized. Incompetence is also recognized.”

OOC Spotlight
Outside the game, Bixidink has been adventuring in Azeroth since World of Warcraft launched in 2004, originally arriving with a guild from EverQuest to raid on off nights. Raiding remained a major focus for years, particularly as a main or off tank, though PvP held a special place as a “secret obsession” during the game’s early days.
These days, with hardcore raiding behind her, Bixidink has found a new passion in roleplay and in the Redscar Legion community itself. What stands out most, she says, is the people. “It’s genuinely amazing how many friendly, helpful people have found their way to the Legion’s doors.”
Looking to the future, she hopes to see more open guild events, opportunities not only to bring members together but also to give outsiders a glimpse of the community Redscar has built.

Visitors from Silvermoon Depart Driftwatch
For the past month, the village of Driftwatch has played host to an unexpected but welcome group of visitors. A number of Sin’dorei artists sought temporary refuge here while unrest and looming threats, not to mention the permitted invasion of Alliance soldiers, in Silvermoon City made their home unsafe. Painters, sculptors, musicians, and jewelers alike found quiet shelter within our walls, bringing with them a touch of elegance and creativity rarely seen in our rugged corner of the world.
During their stay, many residents had the chance to witness their craft firsthand. Courtyards were filled with music in the evenings, sketches appeared along the docks, and more than one villager now owns a small piece of Silvermoon artistry or a bottle of fine wine as a keepsake of their time here. Their presence reminded us that even in times of uncertainty, beauty and expression endure.
With word now arriving that conditions in Silvermoon have stabilized with the presence of more Horde forces there, our guests will soon be returning home. The people of Driftwatch wish them safe travels and calmer days ahead. Their time among us has been a welcome reminder that our village remains a place of refuge for the people of the Horde when it is needed most.

((OOC Notes))
A Note of Thanks to the Legion
As we move deeper into the Midnight expansion, I want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate every single member of this guild. One of the things that has stood out the most to me is how friendly and supportive everyone has been with one another. Whether someone is brand new or has been here for months, people consistently take the time to answer questions, help with content, and make sure others feel included. That kind of community cannot be forced. It comes from the people who choose to be part of it, and you all make this guild a genuinely welcoming place to be.
Like most guilds during a new expansion, we have seen a bit of natural shifting in our roster. Some members we used to see often have been quieter lately, while at the same time we have welcomed a number of new faces into the Legion. That kind of change is completely normal at the beginning of an expansion, especially for a newer guild like ours. What matters most is that the community continues to stay positive and active, and thanks to all of you we have been doing exactly that. It has been so exciting for me to watch the guild continue to grow.
Thank you all again for making the Redscar Legion such a great group to be part of. I am really looking forward to seeing where all of you take us as we continue through the Midnight expansion.
